What is happening in Miami Beach FL with the complete denial of the seriousness of  rapid sea rise - 2000 construction projects underway in a city sinking into the ocean-and off the coast  (with the huge red flags of coral bleaching, while the US Army Corp of Engineers dredges the port to further  oblivion of vital protective resources), Florida is one of the centers in the world where you can see greed/human degeneracy playing itself out to self destruction extinction with an almost willful drive.
