There have been so many incidents of catastrophic flooding, wildfires, hail...occurring now AND LITTLE MEDIA ATTENTION. Simply had to post this...the unbelievable flooding captured in Ellicott City, Maryland....what it captures is all the deadly combinations-people observing  unusual flooding, continuing to drive in it and then the shock that vehicles are being swept away-the video was taken by a customer in a restaurant and the reactions of the customers capture the horror of what unfolds...abrupt catastrophic climate change. 2 deaths there.

It will be both-ecological and economic destruction...even the exploiters who see climate change as a business opportunity ( as I have posted in previous articles on west Virginia's tragic flooding and Miami Beaches sea rise events...and no doubt a lot of others I am missing) won't be in their filthy business for long. Even the greedy businesses who are peddling solar panels (polluting chemicals in their manufacturing) and wind turbines (killing flying birds and their electronic vibrations interfering with animal communications underwater) will see an end to the quick sale soon enough...it is almost beyond me the pathology of most humans now. I know there are others who for years have tried to genuinely fight the destruction of habitats and fresh water resources and keep food non GMO...but all in all the intent of most people on earth is a thoughtless or intentional overuse and disinterest in the natural world, as businesses have slide into profit over all else, even human existence....

I somehow missed this major catastrophic weather events in parts of Spain almost a week a go...probably because here in the States, it has became a blood bath of mass murders- already 274 this year- (whole other topic, whole other blog).  In  Maluenda, Paracuellos, and Miedes Spain, 100% apple and pear crop loss- 100 percent due to sudden hail wind and flooding ...due to heavy rainfall last month there are concerns about the barley crops in France and Germany but the results are not in yet as conditions this month and next will determine that...

The origin of  this man made abrupt and catastrophic climate change being experienced around the world is greed...plain and simple- and a good direct example of late is what has happened with flooding in China this last week where 32 million have been affected and 180 people have died. Wuhan, one of the cities affected, is suffering now from the effects of urban development without concern for environmental consequences: "From 1949 to 2015, the number of the lakes in Wuhan’s urban areas dropped from 127 to 40 because they were filled for construction, which effectively makes it harder for the city to absorb flood water."

The pattern of abrupt rain, in this case 5.5 inches in less than 2 hours, in Vineland, New Jersey last night.

How often are we seeing this around the world now?...today, it was Tucson, AZ under water...

It is interesting to see the Washington Post ( i.e., one of the arms of corporate media) reaction (that it is 'nonsense') to Paul Beckwith and Robert Scribbler's assertion that we should be concerned that the jet streams have merged-that is, broken their west to east pattern of flow, divided in temperature by the equator- and can now flow north to south) and to be concerned that if this pattern continues as a new normal, hot and cold weather across the globe will mix in ways that create more extreme weather, and that this is related to the rapid arctic ice melt.  Because of that, will just post this basic info on the jet streams...
