This article is concerned with civil unrest due to a lack of water and electricity in flooded North Carolina...yet, despite this catastrophe for the people of NC, and that this hurricane rapidly formed-unpredicably and abruptly- still is a minor news story and  minor mention in the Presidential debates. It is almost as if there are 2 realities now- this horrible facade of 'make American great again' and 'america is great' versus natural chaos in real time.

David Loy will be presenting a lecture near where I live tomorrow evening, so posting this which is of course fundamental to why I do this blog-the more we see nature as other and others of different races, gender etc as other, the more destruction is done to the Earth. Separation from nature, from our sense of and part in the sacred oneness  has led to the ecological collapse that is happening now..
