Along with the MANY abrupt flooding events across the world is the equally sudden abrupt lightning strikes that are killing so many across the world. There were 2 events this weekend, in the US..."Julie Lucas, who grew up in the area (Daytona Beach, FL) and was on the beach when it happened, said it was like the bolt came out of nowhere.

"There was no rain, there was no wind ... then 'kaboom,' " Lucas said. "It was scary."
